Adam Ashley & The Gunslingers

Adam Ashley and the Gunslingers began in July of 2007 with three hungry musicians looking for exposure. With Adam Ashley playing guitar and singing, Donovan Baggett on drums and Adam's sister Amanda playing keyboard. They started out playing local shows around Colorado playing covers and original songs that Adam had written. After several months, Amanda had left the band due to work and location issues so Adam and Donovan began looking for musicians. Months before Donovan had met Jodey, the bands current lead guitar player at a local music store, the two began playing acoustic shows around the area...soon after he was asked to join on as a Gunslinger. The hunt for a bass player was on...Zack, who was also an aquaintance of Donovan was suggested by a mutual friend. After a few practices it was obvious that Zack would be the perfect fit...Adam Ashley & The Gunslingers were again alive and renewed.
The band is currently signed with the independent music label Dungeon Records and their debut album -Women, Money & Booze- was released on July 26, 2008. The band has booked venues from Amarillo to Chicago and throughout Colorado for the summer and are still adding dates to promote the new release through the end of the year. The band is hungry to make a name for themselves, with a little bit of luck and a lot of alcohol, there's no limit to what they can accomplish. Look for them at a venue near you....
Adam Ashley (Vocals,Guitar)

Adam Ashley will not be submitting a bio.....it will take away from the mystery and awe......that is Adam Ashley....that is all...
Jodey Salazar (Lead Guitar)

Jodey started playing guitar in Sept. of 1999 influenced by everything from Metallica & Pantera to Jimi Hendrix & Stevie Ray Vaughn. He had played with multiple bands in his hometown of Pueblo, CO only to find himself at a variety of dead ends....then came Donovan Baggett, current drummer for the band. Having met at Jodey's workplace, they became quick friends and soon musical partners...they started out doing acoustic shows together at local venues playing everything from Led Zeppelin to Alice In Chains and Johnny Cash. Jodey soon heard of the band for which Donovan was drumming for...the original incarnation of Adam Ashley & The Gunslingers which featured Adam's sister on keyboard....he then met Adam Ashley. They started out jamming a few times which quickly turned into an array of local gigs...and eventually touring the U.S....the rest is a haze of awesome music, insane shows and drunken after parties from which Jodey has never looked back....
Donovan Baggett (Drums)

Donovan Baggett, drummer and backup vocals for Adam Ashley & the Gunslingers -owner and engineer of Dungeon Recording and Sound Studio, also- always knew that he had to be involved in music in any way shape or form. At the age of 12, he picked up his first guitar and has yet to put it down, check out the guitar on Feet of Clay. He began playing drums with Adam in July of 2007 and the two formed Adam Ashley and the Gunslingers. Who knew that the words 'I can keep a beat' would form the incredible band that Adam Ashley & the Gunslingers have become today. He also heads up the metal band Section 8 with vocals and song writing and has been known to pick up the bass guitar when he feels the need. Donovan finished training in New York with Terron Darby (instructor for DigiDesign, Terron has built and designed studios for Ozzy Osborne, Robbie Williams and Dungeon Recording and Sound Studio) for ProTools 7.0 certification. He is only one of five people in the state of Colorado that is ProTools 7.0 certified. He has also completed mastering classes with Roger Nichols (Steely Dan & Reba McEntire), Charles Dye (Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin & Aerosmith), and Ed Seays (Hank Williams, Jr, Martina McBride & Ricky Skaggs).
Donovan also engineered and produced the Women, Money & Booze CD by Adam Ashley & the Gunslingers.
